The problem with the “self-made man” meme is twofold:

1) he inherited very big money and position from dad.

2) the money he made was largely from the underside of the economy, promoting huge gambling, and the more tawdry forms of entertainment, appealing to the more base instincts. Legal? Yes. Admirable? Not so much.

Automatic editors in word processing can be a real pain, and it's hard to catch an INCORRECT correction.
