cops are being trained as if they are combat soldiers being prepared for a warzone. No, soldiers in war zones have strict rules of engagement.

Facts?
A man waving a towel, wrapped around his hand, was somehiw unarmed.
The cop shot him in the head miraculously “disarming” the man?

No races reported, so I’m guessing the man shot by the officer was not black. (Won’t venture to say white, Hispanic or Asian, just not black.)

He was surrendering, why wouldn’t you shoot him?

As a cop, after you splatter someone’s brains on the pavement is the wrong time to reflect on their innocence.
To do so would undermine established police procedure and bring the department under scrutiny and liability.

I don’t know, but somebody posted a video of it. It was linked to launch times article.

It was unclear if the man had a gun, but the officers believed the man had a gun, Jenal said. Way back, in the Jurassic days of journalism, clarifying that point would have been considered important.

What's with the ABC employees?
They could have led with hoping BLACK! Man in Los Angeles Flags Down WHITE! LAPD Officer, Gets Shot in the Head.
Then if it turns out otherwise they still helped the cause.

The police view everyone as the enemy, I guess. --
Not quite. It is certainly "us v. them," but not necessarily in an "enemy" sense, more of a "superiority" sense. Cuffs apply to everybody they intend to hold or transport, ostensibly to prevent any violent outburst from causing harm.

Might I suggest people go read the first several Ferguson reports. Some of which, though thoroughly disproven, are still considered factual references.
This story quotes not one single named source, but treats the information as fact with a direct writing style. Clearly there is more to the story. I’ll wait for more info. Glad you have all the details you need to pass judgement.
The first report is not always the most accurate. In point of fact it’s most often highly suspect.
But since all cops are corrupt and evil, why wait on facts or evidence..

Seems funny to me how that song resonates these days like it did then, but the circumstances are 180 degrees different.

I cant imagine why anyone would want to be a copI can... and it it's not because they have some altruistic need to "serve and protect".

It was unclear if the man had a gunIf he didn't at the time, I'm sure the cops were happy to supply one to him afterwards.
