I just love Youtube for giving us access to so much of the great music of the past.
Yes, and I saw Siouxsie in concert two times. Awesome shows.
All the chistles I’ve dulled carving idols of stone
That have crumbled like sand ‘neath the waves.
I’ve recklessly built all my dreams in the sand just to watch, them all wash away.
Through another day, another trial, another chance to reconcile
To one who sees past all I see.
And reaching out my weary hand I pray that you’d understand
You’re the only one who’s faithful to me.
All the pennies I’ve wasted in my wishing well
I have thrown like stones to the sea.
I have cast my lots, dropped my guard, searched aimlessly for a faith
To be faithful to me.
Through another day, another trial, another chance to reconcile
To one who sees past all I see.
And reaching out my weary hand I pray that you’d understand
You’re the only one who’s faithful to me.
You’re the only one who’s faithful to me.

Very nice. A different genre than Janis but very nice nonetheless.

Amy?
207 million views and we continue to have this disconnect between our political leaders?
This can’t keep going on.
Something must break.
Some thing is going to break. My current traveling tracks starts with this:

I hear it all over the place.
And while Metal music is cool, nobody actually cares about what they are saying.
At least the punk rockers of the late 70’s had a few words that resonated with ideas of being Free.
Since then, Everything is broken up, and dances.
The Internet, the great equalizer combined with the ability to monetize an ever and increasingly smaller audience of narrowing views has split modern man into countless groups that reflect themselves for themselves alone.
That they actually listen, is encouraging.
There seems to be a group of Gen Xer’s that came before them that don’t.
Not only do they NOT listen, they actually refuse to listen.
They refuse to think.
Maybe the times are a changing.
Just guitar ability and a box of blond dye. :D
Nothing wrong with redheads
True and she was fortunate enough to have great songs and was in better movies than what Elvis ended up doing. Drugs are bad. Whitney, Elvis and so many others...
