Hope it works out somehow!
We’ve been to the park, and next we’re going to the bank, library, and post office.
It will work out. I have to call right at 0700 as my appointment is at 0800. If I were going, I would have been leaving right about now.
I have to get to Walmart some time today and get some more AAA batteries. It seems I should have bought card with more on it, because I sure go through the darn things. And I didn’t want to leave the house today. Ungh.
Those stubborn pounds are really plaguing me. Of course, my motives are ulterior...I want some new clothes!!
I’m still alive for what it’s worth.
I wasn’t near the Interwebs on Friday and have been catching up on email and other work-related nonsense all morning. I may be able to get to UT-related nonsense after lunch.
I know, my priorities are screwed up.
I called the appointment line because trying to get through on the Pain Management line is impossible. They don’t answer their phones. The appointment desk will send them an email and then Pain Management will call me from a number I won’t recognize. And because I don’t, I won’t answer the phone, so they will leave a message with an unacceptable appointment time, and I will have to go through the drill again. *sigh*
It must be time for a shower. Then, if I feel like it, I will mosey down to Walmart for a few things. Like AAA batts!
Good luck to you both. We’ve been to the library and got many more animal books.
Next we’ll have lunch, and then go to the gym.
I need to eat something, but I’m really afraid to eat much of anything. Maybe I’ll get some sliced beef at the Walmart deli and make a sandwich. I think I have a few hotdog buns, which should work quite well. If I can find some horseradish sauce, I can close my eyes while I eat it and think, “Arby’s!”
I got the $10 check for showing up at that Grand Jury thing (which I now wish I was picked for)
How much will it cost to cash a $10 check? lol
More than it should, unless you use your regular bank. On the other hand, if you don’t cash it, you’ve saved the county $10.
Like JG Wentworth said “It’s my money! I want it now”
lol
I got the batteries and some yogurt, so I’m home for the day. I probably need a breathing treatment, even though I wore a mask in the wind. I saw the dust in the valley (can’t see the valley) so I don’t dare go out without a mask and I don’t want to stay out there long.
Remind me to get quarters for washing, come payday. I’m still not used to needing them. *sigh*
Walmart was out of Boar’s Head, but the beef I got doesn’t taste too bad. It’s called “Charlie’s.” As long as it tastes good! The sample was pretty tasty.
You could always endorse it over to your sister, have her deposit it, and then give you the cash.
Just sayin’, if you want it NOW!
If inflation is 3% per year (which I read smoewhere but I have no idea if it’s correct) then that $10 is losing about .08 cents/day.
CASH IT NOW!!!
Even cash ain’t all that good!
Well, it burns a hole in my pocket.
Fortunately, I don’t have it that often.
See?
If you had it, it would be worse!
I’ve also been told that people who win those mega-million lotteries have their lives ruined by it.
TEST ME! OH, TEST ME! I’LL TAKE THE RISK!!
Well, so far THAT’s been a bust.
Howya. I’m about to serve supper to the five children currently present. Hopefully we’ll all make it to bed early, too.
8-)
