Walker has nearly every government employee in Wisconsin as an opponent, and they will look for anything against him.
Not knowing much about this case - they only mistake I would say he made is as a small-government conservative, why would he go against his instincts and establish a typical, statist-progressive government “business promotion agency?”
These are the sorts of agencies he should enjoy killing instead.

Walker's jobs record isn't completely ruined. As Bloomberg Politics notes, the unemployment rate in the state has fallen from 7.7 percent when Walker first took office as governor in 2011 to 4.4 percent in April. The national average is about 5.4 percent. Uh..yeah.. not "completely ruined" indeed. What democrat in a governor's seat can claim a 4.4% unemployment figure?

Don't forget ... this is the liberal MSM ... they may think that they smell blood in the water ...
However ... the $ 10,000,000 question is ... "What the Heck is Scott Walker waiting for to announce his presidential candidacy ?"
Is there any truth to national political speculation that Scott Walker is quietly negotiating with Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio for a trifecta GOPe 2012 campaign effort ?
Film at Eleven ...

When Walker took office in 2011 he very quickly transformed the state’s Commerce Department into the WEDC as part of his plan to create 250,000 new, private sector jobs. But Walker hasn’t been able to meet that goal.
...
So what was it like when it was the Commerce Department?

Where was Scott Walker when Senator Ted Cruz courageously stood virtually alone in his famous Senate filibuster against ObamaCare ?
Allow me to suggest an otherwise humorous answer to my own question:
Scott Walker was HIDING out during Ted Cruz's Senate filibuster ... wondering if Walker could "grab" an honorary college degree from somewhere ...
ANYWHERE !!!

Since whoever was Governor of Wisconsin when it was the Commerce Dept. is not running for President, what it was like before is irrelevant.
The current situation is that millions of taxpayer dollars have been given to business that supported Walker’s election with a handful of jobs to show for it.

and an audit by the state's nonpartisan Legislative Audit Bureau. Is that anything like the non-partisan DA's and Judge that perpetrated the "John Doe" witch hunt. I notice the author was able to interview several Democrats for this article. I guess all the republicans were busy. Walker is not my favorite but this strikes me as garbage.

The evidence of “pay to play” is there. Walker’s legislators are keeping quiet about it, but Conservative media such as “Right Wisconsin” is picking this up.

Millions of dollars are missing from taxpayer funds and the jobs are not there. After Walker’s campaign contributors have been given huge sums of money, Wisconsin is still Dead Last in new jobs in the Midwest.

Oh my God. You are completely clueless. Governor Walker was running his state which was his job to do and successfully I might add. Senator Cruz stood for a length of time blabbing on about nothing knowing that he wouldn’t have the leadership skills enough to convince his fellow Senators to support him. He also as usual didn’t get anything concrete done except perhaps to get “Green Eggs and Ham” back up on the Amazon top book list.

State governors aren’t allowed to speak on the floor of the Senate, you know.
