As they discovered to their horror in Belgium, pedophiles go to lengths to get into positions of government power and authority, both to protect themselves and their peers.

The public discovered that the police, the courts, and both political parties were rife with pedophiles.

There is a war going on and it is high time our side understood it

Besides the widespread Normalcy Bias - which is slowly cracking, though not fast enough - the bottom line is most people just don't know how to recognize much less comprehend how to deal with this increasingly sophisticated and proactive level of reckless hate and lawlessness. It's mostly beyond their understanding, it's simply hasn't been a part of their life experience and therefore do not have the skillsets to handle it.
