Well, if you extend that to Facebook and tweets it was certainly prescient.

That’s the Tesla business model in any case. All of Tesla’s profit comes from selling green credits to companies that need them. The cars themselves cost way more than what they are selling them for.
Facebook and Twitter are both being used for business these days. So are Instagram and Pinterest.
That those sites/functionality are being used for business purposes does not change the fact that individual employees can waste company time on personal stuff, easier than ever.
Anyone my age isn’t using a company computer to waste time, they’re using their own smart phone which is faster, has better software on it, and can’t be monitored by the boss.
You keep throwing out red herrings: whether they’re using the computer or phone is not the issue, just as whether social websites can be used for business is not the issue. I can’t waste more of my own time on this elementary level of debate.
