Here is a photo from the NY Post that supposedly shows Jenner smoking a cig while driving his Porsche the day after the accident: http://pagesix.com/2015/02/08/bruce-jenner-back-behind-the-wheel-day-after-deadly-crash/ (scroll down)
He's texting.
Well, you know what they say about woman drivers
.
Go to TMZ and look at the photos. After he hit the other car, I don’t see any airbag. Why not?
5) Oh yeah here’s another difference, I can’t find that double yellow line reflected in the drivers door either, I don’t see that in the original set of pics, or in the elevated view of the crash site
I’ll just point out that frequent FReeper claims of excess speed do not seem to be the case. The standard collision avoidance system on the Escalade may have slowed it enough to avoid triggering the airbags.
It looks like he’s smoking a cigarette normally in that photo. The picture from the Escalade isn’t a cigarette.
Oh, well, that makes it all right, then....
There was another pic in that sequence where it looked like he was holding a large smartphone, or maybe a SS Starbucks cup with lid.
Smoking .... a joint.
The Lexus wasn't stopped at a light, it had just rear ended the car in front of it, then Jenner rear ended her. It was a chain reaction hit/
That picture is BS!
Looking at series of 3 pictures on TMZ, they capture sequence at precise moment of crash.
They show, that what and how s/he is holding white thing, is most likely the phone, position of hand and head is about the same in all pictures, signifying that s/he wasn’t aware to about crash car on the front of s/him.
Pictures are at the moment of crash, where is the “cigarette” picture from?
Claim that s/he was trying to avoid crash, swear to the right is B/S. Look at the position of Escalade wheels, in all pictures no change of angle, wheels are perfectly straight, s/he is just slightly to the right of car on front, that’s why impact is a bit off center. No turning or steering to the right, to avoid crash.
Position of the head in three pictures looks the same, looking at the phone, no indication that s/he was aware of stopped car on front.
So the conclusion is, s/he was driving while looking (texting?) at the phone and plowed to car ahead.
Phone records could show activity on the phone. More picture after those three would show s/his head and hand moving forward, perhaps safety bag having some markings from the phone.
Clearly picture “with cigarette” is out of sequence during critical moment of crash.
Bring the OJ lawyers to get another criminal off the hook!
>> Oh please...do you think standard transmissions should be banned? <<
O sure, blame it on the tranny....
I hate you because I was about to make that joke.
Oh, and doesn’t look like s/he was even braking. No apparent “diving” of Escalade front, distance between body and front tire looks same and driver seem not aware of situation until stopped by crash. Still holding phone and looking at it, rather than trying to stop, brace for crash with both hands on steering wheel.
Trailer would enlarge “diving” with its extra weight.
Bwahahaha!
The pic has been cropped, he was towing a tandem axle trailer with an off road race car on it.
I am not a fan of this creep but I was involved in an 11 car chain reaction accident in Dallas 40 years ago on the North Central Expressway and it goes down so quickly there is really nothing you can do. Leaving sufficient stopping distance on any crowded road is hard with people filling the hole you leave for yourself. Add in the extra weight of a trailer and cargo it is just an “oh crap” moment.
Because s/he wasn't. The Lexus just rear ended the car in front of her, that's why the shman hit the Lexus.
I agree...BS,
Cars in the right lane next to him in the “smoking” pic didnt exist in the earlier picture,
2) Distance from top of the left front tire to the fender well is different in the two picture sequences
3) Double yellow line reflected in the drivers door doesn’t seem to exist in the original sequence or in the elevated views
Now the original pics have been taken down I think.
Happened to us in Dallas, too. About 35 years ago, driving on the Freeway that goes from Richardson to Plano (memory has failed to tell me the name of the freeway). Two cars in front of us, stopped in the fast lane to looky loo at an accident on the other side of the freeway, Car in front of us rear ended them. We rear ended that car. First car took off but not before the officer, already at the scene of the other accident, saw what happened. Totaled my little car.
