The Catholic church will add that right into their Bible,

Since it's 6th century, there's no chance of that. 500's AD is long after the apostles were writing. In other words, a fake, phony document.

“So someone used Mary’s name without permission to market a magic 8 ball?”

Damn, I’ve lost a lot of money over the years at pool because I didn’t know you could buy a magic 8 ball. I guess the other guys had one—and I wasn’t part of the secret circle.

Maybe I can find a crystal ball that will tell me where I can buy one so I can recoup my losses.

That's okay. The Catholic church will add that right into their Bible, regardless of its provenance.

And some Protestant will start a new religion based on it, build a steel warehouse on a busy street corner and call it a church, have his own TV show, and teach its members to hate Catholics.
