Filthy Shades Of Gray.
How far we have fallen... LORD have mercy.
What did I mss?
‘If your significant other drags you into seeing this is that a sign you are 100% whipped?’
Or perhaps a sign that she wants to be whipped...
Nothing.
Almost to the bottom
“If your significant other DRAGS you” being the operative term.
There is a perverse element out there. Recall the happy couples dressed up as Mr. and Mrs. Ray Rice during last Halloween? I do. For some folks it’s a lifestyle choice, but for others it’s an (seemingly) inescapable nightmare.
and spends a LOT of time talking to her Girl Friends more than you
...Alinsky-ites must be so proud.
(3 whistling sounds)...here meteor!
50 shades of S&M. What a dispicable country we have become.
Any time Hollywood tries to do a “kinky” sex movie, it turns out to be an extremely embarrassing flop. Just remember “Exit to Eden” with Rosie O’Donnell in a dominatrix outfit. Sheer embarrassment.
A team of wild horses couldn’t drag in to see that garbage.
There is a pestilence upon this land. Nothing is sacred.
I’m old enough to remember “The Story Of O” and being bored to death.
I’m thinking it has to be the 30 and under crowd. Never understood why Sex and the City was so big... watched two episodes and declared it beyond stupid. What sort of bothers me is the question: is this what is now defined as a “romantic” movie? I’m sure all of us have our favorite of boy meets girl and they fall in love. Adding whips, chains, feathers, peanut butter or whatever is a sad excuse for a truly romantic movie. IMHO.
After I worked so hard to suppress that memory, you go and dredge it back up.
“Im thinking it has to be the 30 and under crowd”
I’m an 82 year old grandmother who read the book and found it boring.
An abysmal plot-—and sex,sex,sex.
There is no way I’d bother with the movie.
.
I didn’t read any of the book, because several of my friends did, and told me plenty about it. It sounded like porn, as it seemed to glamorize what might be called rape, or at least sexual abuse. I have no need to read filth.
Is it this generation’s “Lady Chatterley’s Lover”?
