The question is, do you? Are you actually living the Law?
Why do you think the Jews would not except him?
Mathew 15
10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
That does not sound to me like Jesus was preaching the Jewish law.
Where do you suppose Paul got the same idea?
John 8
11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
Does that sound like he was preaching the law?
Mathew 5:28
But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
There again he is telling the Jews they can not possibly live by the letter of the law, if an eye offend the, pluck it out, he was telling them that is what they would have to do according to their belief.
He was also no doubt telling them that they should not judge some one for actually committing adultery if that is something they are doing in their hearts.
I totally disagree but if you believe Paul taught a different Gospel than Jesus did you better not believe it.
My FRiend if you believe Paul is teaching against what Jesus taught then maybe you need to stop and start from scratch.
Your view omits most of what Paul taught as the Gospel of Jesus, after the cross. You have a very unusual take on the Gospel.
Gee whiz, I have nothing against Paul but is it an abomination to just mention a little of what Jesus said every now and then and how I see people who actually believe it and do it in such a simple way?
Did not mean to get your ire up by not talking about what Paul said.
Mathew 5:28
But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
There again he is telling the Jews they can not possibly live by the letter of the law, if an eye offend the, pluck it out, he was telling them that is what they would have to do according to their belief.
He was also no doubt telling them that they should not judge some one for actually committing adultery if that is something they are doing in their hearts."
This half-Law, half-grace mangled version of the Gospel explains why you saw the "True Church of God" in the children. Such wrongheaded theology is what started the cult of Rome, now is pervasive in the cultish protestant groups like Osteen, Hinn, Swaggart, 700 club, and all the other goofy, and errant, organizations. You may wish to start from Scripture, my FRiend...forget "scratch".
