What is missing in the 'DeflateGate' NFL analysis? Simple. How the Colts, once succumbing to a 14-0 deficit, had to THEN shift from running the ball 40% of the time to running it only less than 17% the rest of the first half upon falling behind by those scores. It was, after all, "Deflady Brady's" deep pass down the left side of the field to S. Vereen (30 yards) to the Indy 17-yard line that set up the second Patriot score. One wonders what might have happened on that pass in the driving rain had the "underinflation" not been at play...or even if the Patriots would have risked tossing a deep ball if the Patriot offense was "in the know" about DeflateGate...So..."Deflady Brady" doesn't now acknowledge he "felt" anything different about those first-half footballs? What? And pitchers in the Major Leagues can't tell the difference 'tween T-ball rubber balls and Major League baseballs, either?
Yeah funny how the Colts player who had an interception knew that the ball didn’t feel right.
Sour grapes.
You've got the gangster Seahawks, who lead the NFL in on-the-field cheating (if my memory serves me right, they led BOTH 2013 and 2014 in penalties)...
...and then you have the Patriots, who lead the NFL in off-the-field cheating.
Yup. Cheaters do indeed prosper!
Assumes motive on my part (reading minds isn't encouraged on these threads)
I've got no dog in this hunt.
Not a Colts fan.
Belichick tried to blame it on a bladder infection.
weak.
very weak.
I like Russell Wilson. And Richard Sherman is always great entertainment. Plus he has an MBA so I will cheer against Brady and for Russell Wilson.
Sour grapes.

No dog in the hunt and no motive on your part?
You’re a liar or foolish enough to believe your own tripe.
Not directed at you. Sour grapes on the Colts.
I think the Pats would have mopped up the place with the Colts regardless.
Of course, that doesn’t excuse any cheating that may have gone on.
Who knows, maybe Deflategate is the only way to get Joe Sixpack thinking about ethics and rules on a national level.
I think part of the Ballghazi feeding frenzy is the result of the media sitting on their collective hands as Obama has played fast and loose with the rules again and again. The Patriots are a safe target for those scumbags to unleash whatever dormant journalistic urges they have left after six long years of shilling for the Big Cheater.
If we could only translate the outrage over deflated balls to the frauds in DC, we’d be getting somewhere.
At least you’re not hating on the Mormons.
Keep up the good work, one day at a time.
Actually that is not true. He said he did not notice anything unusual. Check Yahoo sports. But hey, don't let any facts influence your story.
That is wicked funny!
don’t forget pete carroll’s cheating legacy at USC:
(Also, I’m convinced the seahawks managed to steal the bronco’s entire game plan last year by copying it on a usb thumbdrive from some assistant coache’s laptop left unguarded in a hotel room.)
thus this year’s superbowl features the two cheatenest coaches in NFL history.
You are so right. Brady can probably tell how many ounces low the balls are. To stand up there and say he couldn’t tell the difference proves to me he is a bald faced liar. He knew it and so did a lot of other people.
By the way, I didn’t care who won. I don’t even like professional thug football.
It is also funny how the refs who handled the ball after every play never noticed anything wrong. I would think they would be aware of any obvious difference in inflation between the two team’s balls.
You can’t tell much between an 11 PSI ball and 13 PSI. Maybe about 1mm inward deflection from the grip of the thumb squeezing it.
