“He noticed a warning light and when he took it in for repair, a county technician discovered someone had intentionally cut the car’s anti-lock braking system.”

I find it hard to believe that anyone who knows how to disable a car’s anti-lock braking system wouldn’t also be aware that doing so would trigger a warning light, thus undermining the whole idea of sabotage.

I believe the wire was cut; I suspect that the wire cutter may not necessarily be a nefarious criminal targeting the police.

Disabling anti-lock brakes is common.

Braking performance in severe conditions is better without them, as long as you’re not on ice.

“Disabling anti-lock brakes is common.”

Not really.

“Braking performance in severe conditions is better without them, as long as you’re not on ice.”

LOL!

They printed all of the signs for all of the recent “protests,” their web link is at the bottom of every one of them.

You’re stepping into something you know nothing about.

What also surprises me is the timeline—it would seem that the officer took the car to a government-employed mechanic on a *paid holiday*, when typically all “non-essential” personnel have the day off.

I think much of this is a made-up story.
