The last journalist left decades ago. The Times is cutting its creative writing and propaganda staff.

this paper deserves to die, for all the distortions, falsifications, and cover-ups its editors have done to its “news” coverage
(but... please save the Crossword puzzles!!!)

    I like the slight variant:
 "Die you egg-sucking pigs!"
which I recall from an episode of Gunsmoke. I think the retort included the word "varmint", but I'm not sure.
As for the NYT - I like to see it enduring a slow and painful denouement.

Yesterday, New York Times readers were treated to a beautifully nuanced and balanced and richly detailed feature about a topic very much in the mix. Its author, Ariel Kaminer, came by her story and its scoopthe first interview with the accused (possibly falsely) rapist of the woman at Columbia who is carrying a mattress around campus to make a statement about campus sexual violence Was the author being sarcastic here? It's hard to tell. Where ever will Ms. Kaminer find another job writing stories about women walking around with a mattress on their backs? Oh, the tragedy....oh, the Humanity!

Long read, but worth it. It's heartwarming to watch a true Champion of Evil disintegrate before our eyes.
It's like watching an iconic Vegas casino at the moment of implosion.
The crowd cheers...!

Seeing them suffer is cool, but the problem is, they still publish their crap during the epilog.
[ epilog is a new word I learned ‘cause I looked up “denouement” and they’re synonyms. And all this time, I thought “denouement” meant “hair removal”. Learn somethin’ new ever day! :-) ]
