I can’t believe that Greenday has been around for 25 years now. Makes me feel soooo old.
I also cannot believe it.
Only reason anyone heard of Mott the Hoople was because they covered a David Bowie song.
She basically knocked off Suzi Quatro’s look.
More of a Stranded or Siren guy, myself.
“Rolling Stone always hated Prog.”
Back in 1998 Rolling Stone finally got around to doing an actual article on the band RUSH.
A couple of editorials the following month:
Six pages of Rush in RS? The apocalypse cometh.
- J. Sukitch Woodland Hills, Ca
Finally, a story on Rush. Thank you. And f*** you.
- Jeff Nilsen, Boston
“She basically knocked off Suzi Quatros look.”
Yeah, but she looked real good in tight leather pants.
Other than covering other people's songs, what has she ever done for rock and roll?
“Yeah, but she looked real good in tight leather pants.”
You know she is lesbian — Joan Jett. She has visited the troops in Iraq and or Afghanistan
Hey, you forgot that rock anthem of the 80’s “Do You Want to Touch Me There.” When she divulged that she was a pervert, that song took on a whole new meaning. For me, the greatest rock band of the 80’s is Journey. Until they are in, the whole stinks worse than the BCS selection process this year.
I always got her confused with Pinky Tuscadero on “Happy Days.”
“You know she is lesbian Joan Jett.”
Yeah, like I would have a shot even if she was a hetero nympho. Still good looking though.
LOL at last an honest FReeper.
I salute you!
You still have a chance with her...if you are female
Good grief - the R&RHOF is basically like the NBA playoffs - everyone who ever sold a record gets in. Who’s next - The Residents?
You brought back a memory that had to be lying dormant in my brain for at least 30 years!
Anyway, she - as well as her sister Leather - are more worthy of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame than that sourpuss one-hit-wonder Joan Jett.
Hunter was one of the most prolific writers of the 70s. He has a massive body of work. Please check his discography. If you only listen to top 40, then you only kkow “All the Young Dudes”
Oh yeah, I forgot about Leather. What about Lenny and the Squigtones? I wasn’t much of a Laverne and Shirley fan.
