It’s not free.
The service is 100% private and no public funds were used. It survives on the rental fees and sponsorship from Citibank.
DISCRIMINATION !
The seat only adjusts up to riders of 6’5” !
What about the REST of us !!!!!
Sheesh, how judgmental of you to measure results and performance. Their intentions were good and there hearts were in the right place. Therefore, the program must be a rousing success.
Just ignore the Ebola you picked up off the handlebars.
From what I’ve heard, the biggest protection they have against people simply stealing their bikes is that you have to swipe your credit card to check out the bike from the stand. I’m surprised that the libs would put up with this obvious discrimination against homeless people and others that don’t have a credit card. I can’t believe the Occupy Wallstreet crowd hasn’t stolen all the bikes by now “in protest”.
Poor cleanliness? Like being used by ebola victims?
Another stupid, wasteful, government program.
I saw these bicycles in expensive racks in Houston the other day. What a waste. There is not a place one to ride them without near assurance of injury or death.
Another waste of money.
