They do this every time they get their clocks cleaned in an election.

Double down?
You bet.

The so-called conservative party wet their knickers at the thought of being accused of "closing down the government" whether factual or not.

Why?
Because only the progressive/socialist party is allowed not ever to compromise, but to stand on their principles (whatever those might be.)

They already did.It was called "Occupy Wall Street"...as designed by Princess Liawatha, the Maoist Senator from the Gay State.

IIRC there were at least several drug OD *deaths* at OWS as well as at least several rapes reported. And IIRC the City of New York had to spend millions cleaning up after those pigs decided to go back to their lilly-white suburbs and their trust funds.

Wasn’t that what the Coffee Party was supposed to be?

Yep. The Left's "Tea Party", meaning a set of activists that insist on larger, not smaller, government; more, and not less, taxation; and less, not more, human freedom is the faction that has taken over the Democrat party at the present time. The Occupy movement is their brownshirts, not a separate movement of its own. Pretending otherwise is only pretending.

“Yeah - the Tea Party is so powerful that it has done NOTHING to stop Obamacare, nothing to stop Amnesty for illegals and is now pushing for a budget that most Communists consider freewheeling.”

Why are you trying to be the party pooper? “We” control the house and the senate. Now, in 2016, we will have Jeb Bush win the grandslam for “us”. Good times ahead, democrats be jealous.

"Can the Left Launch its Own Tea Party? "

Not if it requires a fully functional brain. Pot parties are possible, but they'd accomplish little.

Do you happen to know of or how to get the name of the actual person that proposed and tried to implement the Coffee Party? I think that person has very strong ties to Lois Lerner.

I remember it being proposed on Daily Kos during the Tea Party protests, them picked up by the whackjobs on MSNBC.

It could have been any of the thousands of Dem staffers, paid professional propagandists, and “Community Organizers that populate the place.

Conservative Democrats are the "Left's Tea Party."

We need four parties in this country, something like the UK. That is we need Far Left, Center Left, Center Right, and Conservative Parties.

Boehner and McConnell would be Center Right. The reason we do not have four parties is that it would be too difficult to divide up the booty. As things stand now, they join the Center Left, giving us three Left and one Right Party. At Three to One, all the Tea Party now does is guarantee Democrat Party control; of everything, even without a majority in Congress. The Democrats absolutely own the Federal Bureaucracy, The Courts, The MSM, and of course the Executive Branch. Today, Black Wednesday, has shown us that Congress under Republican Leadership after this month,. will seize any opportunity to join the Democrats to keep the perks and earmarks flowing. This Rump Session of Congress should be absolutely stonewalled, not allowed to dominate 2015 and 2016. We have been sold out.

I have personally witnessed Boehner drunk out of his mind. I can only guess what other dreadful personal secrets Team Obama is using to make McConnell their bitch. Perhaps it's just the money, but I doubt it. These two characters must be replaced.

Today, Black Wednesday, the cowardice and corruption of the "Republican" Party wrecked the Republic. CWII is a day closer.
