I would suggest you go back to Chile for a visit and if it feels like home...well then, that is how we know where we are to be.
And don’t forget to post us at FR just how things are down there...lol
Thank you!
Everytime I leave the country, I try to give anecdotes and education for my fellow Freepers.
Gotta go to Mexico in a few months so you’ll hear about it.
Gotta take another trip to Europe and you’ll hear about it.
Lastly, I’ll be in Chile for Labor Day 2015. Usually the best snow of the season and bunnies abound, looking for warmth and love.
lol Be careful in Mexico....I hope you don’t stand out in a crowd. I spent a lot of time praying for the Marine, and don’t want to have to be praying you out of there.
More Transfers to Uruguay....are On Their Way..
I’m fine.
Hate to say it but, watched an interview witb Tamoorisi.
He ain’t right in the head.
That said, I would have never gone anywhere near where he drove.
Once you enter, yer in and subject to all their laws.
There is no where to turn around until after they question you.
I just park at the mall or a couple other places about a mile away and walk in.
Super easy to get in.
The line to get back home was ridiculous.
The BPA guy was pretty funny.
Tijauna like every other shit hole on the border is well, a shit hole.
But, it’s an amusement.
Prefer Mexico city, Mayan Riviera(except for the world class Americanized dump of Cancun) Oahacha, Cozumel, etc.
I visited Tijuana in 84, I believe that’s right year; with a Navy friend while I was in San Diego. He wasn’t my type but I was there on a weekend drill ...in fact, my group ate breakfast at the same McDonalds that had the Mass Murder two weeks later, I think, or maybe three.
All I remember is so many body shops in a row, and a place I didn’t think I would want to revisit.
Tijuana is the only place I've ever been where you could get food poisoning or an STD just walking down the street...
ROFLMTO
You have to have a purpose to go there. It’s not like other parts of Mexico, where you can literally bump into stuff to do.
mexicans do not speak Spanish......lol
Now that’s funny and I heard a guy in Spain say the same thing.
Was hilarious!
