In fact, the MSM, and Fox News in particular, are overly dramatic and hyperbolic with their reporting and they seem to have no other agenda other than to fan the flames and to inflame the situation for nothing more than ratings.

Are you serious? I am seeing buildings being burned to the ground, police cars being burned, stores being looted, and you are saying it's all media overreaction?

You forgot to put “vanity” in your title.

They need to move in with water cannons. Soak ‘em down, let ‘em freeze. Seems the police have set up the zoo and are letting the animals do what they want.

They arrested 29 people. One elderly man got carjacked and then run over. That’s pretty much it.

Henceforth, these should be known as the Media Riots.

Hyperbole sells. Violence never should be glorified. Granted, these are not your grandfather's riots of 1965 and 1968, despite what the Media is trying to show.

Well? Did the world end? Is the whole city of Ferguson burnt down? Did all of the protests turn into riots?
I didn't think so. A lot of media persons and political chatterers should try to get some help for that problem of theirs.
From The Collaborative International Dictionary of English v.0.48 :
Hysteria \Hys*te"ri*a\, n. [NL.: cf. F. hyst['e]rie. See
Hysteric.] (Med.)
A nervous affection, occurring almost exclusively in women,
in which the emotional and reflex excitability is
exaggerated, and the will power correspondingly diminished,
so that the patient loses control over the emotions, becomes
the victim of imaginary sensations, and often falls into
paroxism or fits.
[1913 Webster]
Note: The chief symptoms are convulsive, tossing movements of
the limbs and head, uncontrollable crying and laughing,
and a choking sensation as if a ball were lodged in the
throat. The affection presents the most varied
symptoms, often simulating those of the gravest
diseases, but generally curable by mental treatment
alone. Hysteric
