Alright, how will the GOPe reward Conservatives who give them the majority...

  1. Reaching across the aisle,
  2. Continuing to wink-and-nod at the IRS's domestic targeting, and
  3. their asset seizure operations,
  4. Continue to fund Obamacare,
  5. Continue to incur massive debt,
  6. and fail to do anything at all to distinguish themselves from the opposition.
IOW, nothing good.

If the margins are thin, the only reward will be the smack down of Harry Reid and an insult to Obama.

Even as the Republican party signals its favor of amnesty?

The hurt you may feel by voting Republican is NOTHING compared to the eternal agony of voting Democrat.

You know, voting on Tuesday provide a victory for some down ticket conservative that may pay off down the road. Or at least, thats a potential positive I look at.

Our two party system is not conducive to incremental change.

It's not a two party system, that's the lie that makes it unconductive to change.

.

- Glenn Beck will continue to insist everyone votes for Libertarians and Independents (who are actually mostly BS’ing radical Progressives, Insane, or Morons)

- and if the Democrats can keep the US Senate - Beck and other will change the subject and go on to other projects for the next 2-4-6 years

“We must teach Republicans a lesson” - we have all heard tha silt-ass crapola before -

- Look at all the “Independents” and turncoats running across the USA now -

- 5% here - 10% there - playing “Ross Perot” and putting scoundrels (like Clinton & Obama) and scamsters in office for 2 four year terms -

.

It has to go way beyond that. After you vote them in, we (ALL) have to hold their feet to the fire. Remind them that compromising with bad policy is like adding just a little sewage to your drinking water, and insist that they run roughshod over the opposition.

Perot got nearly 20% of the general vote (18%) — and afther that run the Democrats and Republicans pushed out legislation throwing roadblocks up to third parties. What does that tell you about things?

It tells me that they were concerned of the possibility of losing power? Why would they both be in on it unless they are, essentially, the same?

Yup.

We on the right have an object obnoxious habbit of thinking that we are always the smartest people in the room, then we do stupid stuff in the primaries, splitting our votes, and then get angry when the RINOs win. That’s what happened in South Carolina.

And we call them the stupid party? What does that make us then?

How, exactly, do we do that?
There are multiple court rulings that declare that a Senator cannot be recalled, fired, or otherwise punished.

Moreover, with laws like ObamaCare setting precedent of excluding themselves from the law they are codifying an actual class-system WRT citizenship. Congressmen are of a higher class than we, illegal immigrants (due to how many laws they flout with wink-and-nod from the authorities) are also a higher class than we, Law Enforcement with their many immunities for prosecution are a higher class than we, Bureaucrats with their non-accountability (e.g. Lois Learner) are also a higher class than we.

So, how do you propose that we, the lowest class, hold the highest class's feet to the fire?
I propose that anything that would be at all effective would get the LEOs and/or Bureaucrats sicced on you.

I don't think people realize that voting is the FIRST step in the process, followed by constant pushing of all elected to adhere to Conservative principles, and NOT the LAST step. I will hold my nose (if necessary) and vote for the lesser of the evils. Unless Madison/Monroe are running I will seldom be happy with the GOP candidate.

Ain’t gonna do it for Lindsey Graham this time either.

(He doesn’t want or need my vote anyway.)

I agree. Not seeing the Madisons or Monroes. I almost never am pleased with R nominees these days.

Not considering myself a member of the Republican Party makes it easier for me, though, than it does for a FReeper who is.

Conservative hero Jeff Sessions will chair the powerful Budget Committee. Expect renewed attacks on ObamaCare and proposals for a sweeping overhaul of the federal tax system.

This is nothing but a lie. Emperor Zero won't sign anything like that. ObamaCare is here to stay, even Republicans have been saying.

If the Republicans win, it's more of the same thing: amnesty, increase in the size and scope of Fedzilla, more loss of freedoms. Except maybe some of the worst things, like gun bans, won't happen. Anything Zero thinks he can get away with, executive order or not, he will do. At this point, he nearly has dictatorial powers, and the Republicans are jealous of that much power.

Should McDaniel vote for Cochran?

I know if I were in Texas, Kentucky, Mississippi, or South Carolina, the GOP Senate candidate would not be getting my vote.

I don't vote for those who have publically stated and worked for my demise.

That would be foolish and lack honor.
