Latest poll in British media today: NO 53, YES 47. I saw a poll that (I think) was recently done in Scotland's schools, sort of like used to be done in the U.S. by Scholastic's Weekly Reader. The results were 60+% in favor of separation.
I thought that was interesting. It shows what the sentiment likely is before "adult" factors such as caution and intransigence are added to the mix.
