It don’t matter if the tip was 20 bucks or 2 thin dimes... in the end you still live and work in Philly.
You are probably right, he was likely shocked and angered that they dared to bring him a bill for the meal.
Not really, the players know what restaurants are on the list.He felt he really did get bad service. He answered through a friend. The owner set up a facebook page about all this.Gotta love the comments. My advice to Shady-do cash next time.Owner getting told off on facebook. Also people are wondering if their receipts will show up in the news.

Or...maybe the service sucked and he did what most diners would do to leave a message.
“ONLY LeSean McCoy knows what happened at that meal.
If this is the first time, then I give the guy a break.”
The owner says he knows. He said he was abusive to the staff.
“Actually, it is not.”
Actually, it is.
You joke, but I have heard numerous tales of our local towns QB showing up at clubs running up big bills and making arguments not to pay...
“You see how many people are in here, I did that, I shouldn’t have to pay the tab.”
I can’t first hand vouch for it, but I have heard it from a number of folks in the service industry that I trust.
Jokes are always best when there is an element of truth to them.
You are in denial.
Just because a “majority” are God fearing does not mean that there are not a hell of a lot of rapists and felons playing in the league with the NFL knowingly looking the other way at their actions.
Get a clue.
You compare leaving a small tip for a hamburger to violent criminal acts? Ok.
How many years would you like McCoy to do in prison? I not only give him a break I would never eat in that place.
“You compare leaving a small tip for a hamburger to violent criminal acts? Ok.”
No. I am comparing you to all the others that always give the ‘start athlete’ a break.
I could care less about star athletes nor should you make any such assumption. I don’t believe anyone is “entitled” to a tip. I also think if even a famous person chooses not to tip for their own reasons whatever they may be, I hope the place goes out of business for attempting to publicly strike back at a customer.
Interesting story, rates about a minus 10 on my give a crap meter.
So if you get lousy service you are required to Tip? I disagree a Tip is for the level of service you receive or you perceived you got.
It’s all in the eyes of the beholder.
Lousy service = 0% tip
Adequate service = 15% tip
Excellent service = 20% tip
