Well, at least we can save monkeys with it. Humans, not so sure.
At this point, as bad as it is over there, I don’t see what it would hurt.
Wait a minute. Let’s not rush into these things. Another 5 years testing aughta do it.
How long before the left howls in outrage at Big Pharma making profits from the suffering of poor Africans and demand that they hand over their expensively researched patents to the kleptocratic governments of Africa so they can use them and copy them for free? You know like they did with the AIDS medicines.
Oh and wait till the animal rights lobby gets going on the monkey tests.
Well, they claim to be out of the stuff, and if it’s not officially done with development, they probably haven’t begun scaling up the process of making it so they could make new amounts with any speed. (OTOH, might be simple process, and therefore simple to ramp up too, I have no idea)
It should be safe to test on Africans now.
heals monkeys...africa....black people.....
i can’t believe msm didn’t mention racism about the study, or somehow make it racist.
From what I have heard, making it is a very time consuming process and even then very little can be produced.

Why’s that?
This drug is made by genetically engineering tobacco plants to produce the antibodies. It takes time for plants to grow. Plus, there are issues about the yield per plant, and the size of the production facility, which may be quite small, considering that they have only done small scale animal studies so far.
Law offices with their non-attorney spokespeople have already begun producing their commercials.
Don’t know the details, just read the other day (can’t remember where) that the reserves of ZMapp have already been used up and the equipment needed to produce in large quantity isn’t in place.
See post #13.
Ah. In that case, it’ll take years to accumulate a massive stockpile.
Thanks for the ping!
