Has the world completely forgotten/disowned his “Being Human”? Among the best movies I’ve seen (save for the producer-imposed abruptly happy ending).

Agreed.

When he shouts out - trying to reach her: “I love you!!!!” - I always weep.

An incredible talent; a sadly lost man...

Everything he has done is now forever tainted by the legacy he’s left.

This was one film where you forgot Robin Williams as the funnyman.

Loved the ending.

I like RV, I think it’s a very funny movie. Only complaint is where he’s coming down the mountain on the bicycle the music should have been “Wipeout” instead of “Little GTO.”

He was great in a bit part in “Dead Again” with Kenneth Branaugh and Emma Thompson.

Williams actually taught himself to speak Russian in just a few months to do Moscow on the Hudson. It was an amazing performance.

Just learned that Williams was in the early stages of Parkinson’s Disease.

I can’t stand ranking lists.

Our opinions of what belongs in them can be as equally legitimate as the number of us is great.

Doubtfire was funny but much of his standup was crass...especially with whoopie and billy crystal.

My issue with Doubtfire is that it wasn't a family friendly movie. Funny, yes, but I shouldn't have to explain what foreplay means to my 9 year old.

I agree. It wasn't a kids' movie.

But this was generally the problem with Williams...he delivered lots of crass humor throughout his career. He was not a wholesome guy. So true of so many Hollyweirdos trying to pass themselves off as all Americans.

A friend of mine who is a therapist suggested I watch this movie to help me deal with my first wife’s death. I cried harder than I ever had before or since.

I agree. Robin Williams, when playing a dramatic role, was when I liked him the most. The manic part of him was way too much for me to deal with. R.I.P.

A lot of humor is crass and has to be to make the point. Richard Pryor...
