Yeah, dunno. I just posted a pic from Crosman of the model. I don't know the color and such. I looked at the video you posted and the witness said a AR-15.
Dunno why any moron would take a air rifle out of the box and run around with it in Wal Mart. But, anything can and will happen there.

"Eyewitness says man pointed gun at police."
Yeah, give 'em a break! There's a perfectly good reason why they couldn't take cover in order to tell him to put the toy down!
[Can you guess what the reason was?]

Seems likely. You point that at me, I might shoot you.

We don’t know if that is the actual toy gun involved in the execution.

Wal-Mart video records every square inch of the store 24 hours a day, for liability reasons, mostly from customers but also from employees. And even when the store is closed and empty, in case anyone breaks in.

I thought at first they were talking about the toy section, but I know with my eight year old there are only Nerf guns there. We get all of his good toy AKs and M16s at Freds and General Dollar

If that is the rifle then they may have done the right thing. It is not a “toy rifle”. It is a weapon that could easily cause serious injury or death.

Sorry, but I’ll believe the cops before I believe Obama’s son.

If that was the gun, I would have shot him. It looks like a real rifle. If I’m told there is a dangerous guy with a gun and this is what he has, I would have put him down if he pointed it at me.
FWIW, I have some issues with toy guns that look like real guns and real guns in toy colors. I’m not a fan of the CCW weapons aimed a women in pink and teal. Firearms are serious business and should always be treated with respect.
But, I am also the “boring” uncle who spent time teaching my nephews gun safety after they got airsoft rifles. They wanted to shoot at each other, and I was trying to teach them the rules of handling firearms.

don’t buy toys at Wal-Mart! The cops will kill you!

I almost picked up a toy pistol in Wal-Mart myself today. Was in a clearance aisle-end section.

Someone is going to get smart and call the police on an undercover in Walmart claiming a nut with a gun,
then call the undercover and tell him that two men posing as officers are robbing
people in front of the store.

Ill wait for the video. I wonder if he was dumb enough to actually point the gun at the police, like he was going fire it.
Are gonna wait, or wonder?

The bereaved family consists of a baby momma with 2 kids under two who is pregnant again, and another girlfriend at the end of the article.
Interesting. Are you going to provide any dirt on the cops involved?

Thanks for saying what I was thinking. But, in a much more delicate fashion. Well done.
I think 30% of "FReepers" are actually interns @ SPLC or MSNBC trying to make conservatives look bad. ;)

So does Costco. But, if they incriminate cops, the tapes will wind up like IRS emails.

Real enough. If you're expecting to see a man with a gun and you see that, real enough.

Like the tapes at Costco in Las Vegas.
