Looks like somebody better start looking for a new job. I’d can that agent immediately.
There is probably more to this. My guess is the guy was being an asshole.
There could be another side to this story.
Maybe someone had a “special” reason to separate the kids from their dad.
There are always too sides to these stories and I could believe either side in this story:
On the one hand, these flight attendants can be power-drunk Nazis at times and take any little slight or show of temper as a terrorist act.
On the other hand, some passengers can be real a-holes.
Who forced him to delete his tweet? And how did they do it?
The whole incident revolves around the exact words he used in the tweet and he can’t remember them? Sounds a bit suspicious.
“That does it! I’m going to tweet about this!” Some relative of Pajama Boy?
“My guess is the guy was being an asshole.”....
I would side with you on this. I used to travel via air a lot and have witnessed a number of people over the years that played the “Do you who I am” card expecting to get their way. there are a lot of a-holes out there, just ask any airline gate agent.
On a flight out of BAL three weeks ago I complained about Delta service in a tweet and they DM’d me immediately and asked how they could help...
The pilot is likely the one that booted the twit. If you annoy the pilot, you don’t fly on his flight, period.
The airlines are a tight knit group of employees, more so than any other industry.
I’ve seen stuff like this first hand before. Guy was complaining about the crappy service that the gate agent for Delta was providing.
Agent said she felt threatened and called security.
The airline gate agents can be real winners.
And why announce you’re going to do it. Do it, take the flight, and then inform them as you’re getting off in MSP that you told the whole world how you were treated.
There could be but air travel is much worse today then it was even 4 or 5 years ago. They are flying at capacity so any hiccup in the system causes tremendous ripple effects. The planes and airports are dirtier, more crowded and more expensive. The airlines pretty much don’t give a crap about customer service and treat you like cattle.
If you complain they’ll boot you off the plane or have you arrested in a heartbeat.
If this is all he said he was simply communicating his displeasure. It’s pretty common for airlines to let groups board with the earlier zone, especially if some are children.
I don’t fly southwest very often because of their boarding system.
Have you worked with women much? My guess is she used the intimidation card to settle her personal beef. We both have a guess. Right?
Baltimore? That’s were Southwest is flying the illegals. Someone here was flying from Phoenix to Baltimore and there were a dozen coughing teenagers being flown there. Apparently they were gang members (Baltimore doesn’t have enough already?) because none of them had shoe laces and they were accompanied by LEOs.
They got priority boarding. Our tax dollars at work.
