Police do not have a good description of the perpetrators or the vehicle used in this case, except that it is light colored.

Yes, but what color clothing were they wearing?

A few of thse “knockout artists” need to get blown away and then the attacks will quickly wane.

No doubt the perps made their getaway in a horse drawn buggy.

1) They make ‘inert’ (contains a non-irritating liquid) mace canisters for practice. A word to the wise ...
2) It’s FLORIDA, for Pete’s sake. They just about invented the ‘shall-issue’ concealed handgun permit. A .357 Magnum does a lot more damage to “knock-out game” thugs than mace does.

The “knock-out” usually involves knocking someone out from behind with no warning. In that condition, a gun is as useless as a peashooter. These perps are risking a bullet in Florida, for sure.

The knockout game first came about a year ago, when strangers approached people randomly and punched them unconscious. Crapolla. It's been going on for years.
No description? They couldn't see the skin color of the attackers? Baloney, that was deliberately left out of the so called news story.

The woman told police that she tried to spray the men with her Mace but that it didn't workWhich is why she should have been carrying an MP-5 instead and made them dance.

The victims apparently had enough warning to attempt deploying “mace”. They failed ... probably due to lack of practice.

A .357 Magnum does a lot more damage to knock-out game thugs than mace does. Most victims don't see it coming, and I doubt they have instincts or
situational awareness. And the Guy saw them coming too. I'm a bit confused.
It also seems they're doing the hit then running because they know the laws
and nobody would get away with killing an unarmed attacker running off.
Just have to be aware.

Riverside used to be a really high end area when I was young. The West side was where all the crime was. I guess its everywhere now.

Back in the 70's in the Aldine School district they had a knockout game by
walking up behind another student and headbutting the back of their head.
Until someone got their neck broken and the Coaches stepped in because it was the
Football teams who were doing it, only Black players were doing it. It started
as a harmless helmet to helmet butt on the field but bled into the hallways of the schools.
Back then corporal punishment was legal and used very effectively by the VP and Coaches.
In most cases the Coach and VP would demand the mother come watch the punishment or risk
having their star player kicked off the team. Sometimes both parents.
I have no idea where this new way came from. It had to start somewhere.

Wifey and I like to go for a fast walk in our town along a busy street that has a wide sidewalk. At every street light post (about 30 paces) I look behind us to see if anyone is approaching from the rear. (My version of a Crazy Ivan!)
Several times, we've been behind other people and they NEVER look behind them. If we're walking faster than they are and we pass them, they have no idea anyone was behind them at all.

I know what you mean. I have seen people at gas stations with their nose in their phone and didn’t notice a stranger until they tapped them on the shoulder.
When a stranger gets within about ten feet of me I tell them to stop and if they don’t I then yell at them.
All the while with my Glock hot and ready.
