Yngwie Malmsteen is a conservative
Ain't that the truth. I've been trying for a few years now to get a group of people together to play original conservative/patriotic protest rock, and have met damned few. There are conservative musicians around, but not many who have the guts to put their beliefs to music, then put it out there for the CommieLibs to rip to shreds.
So at this point, 10 Pound Test is just a solo project. If any FReepers know anyone who might be interested in collaborating with a PO'd conservative, Christian, veteran, gun owning, pickup driving, Southern/Western redneck rocker, send 'em my way.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
Closest one is Kansas... :-(
Oh, my...will you look at that BBQ sandwich. So much of it looks good. Maybe if I’m ever in Kansas..for whatever reason.
Alice Cooper is Conservative and built a Presbyterian Youth Center in Arizona.
There are a LOT of tasty items on that menu...if they are successful; I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few turn up east of the Mississippi in a few years. if the country makes it that far, of course.
As long as they don't break into a liberal, douche bag rant in the middle of a concert...
The menu might have more of a Mexican/Guatemalan flavor by then.
No doubt.
CCR-Who’ll Stop the Rain
Contains the line:
“Five year plans and new deals, wrapped in golden chains”
Personally I vote for Charlie Watts.
No, I'm not kidding.
The Remains-Don’t Look Back
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-ne_H5HL88
“If you both have faith you’ll find a sunny day
Don’t be bothered by what smaller minds have to say”
“I’ll light a candle and I’ll pray
The Lord will bless you”
The Ritual-Speed Freak
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdm8kHjPJ1k
“It’s simple to say I’ll quit
When I’m scared and sick
But I know that when I come down
I’ll try the same old trick
Please help me God when I’m feeling well
Save me God from speeding to Hell”
