Just testing the waters. I think Indy is the most consistently entertaining racing there is, and the drivers have to compete on road courses and street circuits as well as ovals of varying size and configuration. Truly a great sport that's trying to return to former glory after an ego-driven split into two competing series in the mid-1990s.

It seems to me there is a live thread on nearly every major Indycar race. Lots of fans here. Wish I could remember who the thread-starters are. I suspect you’ll find out soon enough! :)

Do you know anyone? I don’t keep track of this stuff, but I found that you posted the Indianapolis 500 thread.

Went to my first Indy 500 in 1967 and have only missed a few since.
If we don’t get a critical mass here, head over to Trackforum which is pretty much non-political on the racing side.

If you want an Indy ping list, just post a thread and ask if others would like a ping every week for the race.
Keep a copy of the pinglist somewhere you can retrieve it in the event of a computer crash.

I love to talk baseball but nobody wants to post 180 odd threads per year per team. LOL

If there is to be a list, I would like to be on it. I do not miss a race.

I used to go to the F1 races in Detroit (back when they were on the street). Loved every minute of it.
I had my World Cup dose today, now it's time for the Tigers. :)
