Yeah...that says it all right there.
It’s clear now that Pat Roberts and Lamar Alexander are going to use the Thad Cochran tactics of race-baiting in order to defeat their tea party opponents, Milton Wolfe and Joe Carr, respectively.

Yes, calling you political opponent a racist for no good reason DOES make you a Democrat, and yes you should just admit it.

What is it about that City or staying their too long?
I remember when Senator Roberts was on Intel-Sub-Committee and went toe to toe with the late Tim Russert and he kept his dignity as he was enraged ( yet under control ) with the lies of the day that he could not talk about because it was Classified.
What the heck happened to that guy vs the guy with the tweet?

Something has to be done to limit the damage caused by these conflicts.
The Democrats are loving this.

The Republican leadership (GOPe) is leading the charge in making Democrat style attacks on grassroots conservative candidates like McDaniel and now apparently Wolf.
They are helping the Democrats and using Democrat tactics.

I defend the GOP when people say “all politicians are power mad oligarchs” but I don’t know why anymore. If you have to choose between an elitist bent on your domination who is employ of big business special interest groups and one who’s a Marxist, what kind of choice is that?

Something has to be done to limit the damage caused by these conflicts.
The Democrats are loving this.
The only sane and viable solution to this problem is getting rid of the Corporate Cronyists GOP-E Senators and House members that are forcing these conflicts.
They have proven they have no conservative principles.
They have also proven they are puppets on a string controlled by their large Corporate Campaign donors (Cronies).
And frankly, as a conservative, I couldn't care less whether or not the Democrats are loving this or not. Getting rid of Senators/House Members that no longer represent us, but represent their Corporate Masters is necessary and too important to be concerned with whether or not the Democrats are loving this.

Many of us here have been warning that if the GOPe’s are not made to
pay a price for what they did in MS, they would use the same tactics over
and over again.
And they are.

I expect Lamar Alexander to race-bait Joe Carr by the end of the week.
And let’s not forget McCain’s comments: “We should emulate Cochran’s tactics.”

Given The Won’s utter failure in domestic and foreign policy, not to mention his general unlikeability, IMO the GOP was poised for a takeover of the Hill in '14, followed by the WH in '16.
There was only one way the GOP could screw things up - they could demotivate the part of their constituency that works the hardest to get the vote out and are most likely to vote, diehard conservatives.
But surely they wouldn't be that stupid, would they?
The democrats are laughing themselves silly right now.

Proof positive that GOPe would rather stay in the minority in the Senate.
