"complex issue" ? doesn't seem complex, it seems pretty simple to most law-abiding folks.

This should do it for “guests” and “customers”. What’s the policy about criminals bringing guns in? Like if a robber...

Dear Criminal Element,
Target stores are now easy pickings. No one will be armed but you!!
That is all....

My take on it is, THEY CHOSE TO NAME THEMSELVES. So live with it. Incidentally I have not been in a Target store in over five years, especially after I learned they were owned by a French bunch.

I don’t personally like it that much, but it is their right.
To: kingattax
So plain to me, but they seem to be confounded by the concept that someone coming into to rob/kill/maim is not going to be deterred by your policy not allowing firearms on the premises.
To: kingattax
Each of us can make a statement that individually will be ignored, until enough people make it, to rattle their chains.
Enter the store, ask to speak to a manager, and say to them, “I would like to shop at Target, but because of your new anti-gun policy, I do not feel safe here anymore. Goodbye.”

There’s actually been a spate of armed robberies following such announcements by other businesses.
To: kingattax
Now that Target has officially declared itself a defenseless victim kill zone for criminals with all forms of weaponry, it’s a place best avoided.

So... f*** Target.
Who needs ‘em.
To: kingattax
It's a request and it seems to be targeted at those who open carry AR and AK type weapons. I don't see that big of a deal at this time. I draw the line when all weapons are prohibited in a business, to include those that are legally concealed. Those businesses do not get my dollars.

I wasn’t too happy when they called Humpback Mountain a “Love Story” - in a promo they ran in their Electronics Department.
In this case, I’ll double-check with them before going there again - just to be sure that I’m not wanted.

I don’t see it as a big issue. How many will be offended that a bank refuse to let ppl who carry guns in?
