LOL! Nice town Cuban lives in... Best to walk on the white stripe in the middle of the road, and take your chances...
I don’t see that what he said is off base in the least. And I sure don’t always agree with him.
So he referenced a black kid in a hoodie. When will things stop being “All Trayvon...All the time”?
As sad as it is...appearances to make a difference in how people are perceived. I don’t know if that is actually racism. It stems from the adopted appearance and attire of certain groups of people, imho.
Heck, if I went out and stood on a street corner in a hoochie-mama dress, I’ll hazard to guess that the assumption would be that I was a hooker. Or it would have been 40 years ago. ;)
“If I see a black kid in a hoodie and it’s late at night, I’m walking to the other side of the street. And if on that side of the street, theres a guy that has tattoos all over his face - white guy, bald head, tattoos everywhere - Im walking back to the other side of the street,” he said
Concealed carry dude... I walk on the side of the street that I want to..
If a precedent is set with Donald Sterling, then all major league sports owners (not to mention a lot of other business people) will be bullseye targets for blackmail. ANYTHING non-PC they say in private can and will be used against them, even if it doesn’t come out in the news.
This,to me,says that it's OK for anyone of *any* race to call anyone of *any* race to task for anti social, destructive behavior as long as they keep it accurate. For example...whites can criticize blacks as long as they acknowledge (correctly) that the majority of black people aren't scumbags.
This performance is on youtube...just search Chris Rock black people vs niggaz.
Which part was “bigoted”??
Mr. Cuban you are so correct. Thanks for it and now prepare to sell the Mavs. The NBA banned free speech.
Race baiters attack, again.
What Mark Cuban said was not racist nor bigotry.
His statements displayed the prejudice (pre-judgement) that we all have regarding other people and our inner-sense of potential dangers.
