Don’t you hate that? Deer are so pretty and around here their habitat is quickly diminishing...so we are seeing more on the roads too

They could limit access to camera crews, but that wouldn’t play well.

MrT5 hit deer twice on the way to work after we moved up here-but he always left before first light to get to work on time because he had to drive so far. If I have to leave before dawn, I literally creep along at 15 mph until I’m on the main FM road...

He’s still in limbo. New GM will decide to keep or fire Bylsma.

Another baffling decision by this team. It’s pretty clear from post mortem that Dan lost the team. He needs to go.

Deer are beautiful creatures-and not as dumb as people think-they are opportunistic enough to figure out that humans mean food, whether it is purchased and put out for them, or a suburban lawn of non-native grass that someone slavishly waters every other day-they will eat it either way.

The deer on this road can be seen at all hours of the day in all the little pastures, eating beside the goats and horses from their feeders and drinking from the water troughs. AT night when there is a moon, they find their way into the yards and munch the gardens and potted plants, if they can get them...

He needs to go Right to the nations capital. So are they just trying to screw over the caps by not releasing him now? I honestly cannot get enough of reading the Pennsblog comments by pens fans, I could swear they are caps fans writing about the caps.

Xsbaby and Xsteen are leery of Pittsburgh cast offs. Xshub and I are totes in favor of bylsma/shero. We prefer a name brand to the off-brand losers of Van-Cal-Buf... sorry Mik.

Who knows? Maybe they’ll totally screw everbody by keeping Dan until the first slump in November.

i heard on the NHL radio network that Crosby’s AGENT may be a potential new GM? that seems like a huge conflict of interest to me.

I don’t see how that could happen.

Deer. They are everywhere. They like to run out in front of cars in the middle of the night. Giant rats, if you ask me.

I saw a beautiful young buck this morning on the trail, with 2 inch knobs, stood about 6 ft from me and then took off into the woods.

The 3 Husky girl and I rousted last night were does-probably had fawns hidden in the woods by the river, and didn’t want to go too far from them to get some interesting food.

I couldn’t easily find the break in the fence-the whole thing is covered with vines-including some with thorns and I didn’t have work gloves with me. I’m going to put the deer chow tub at the edge of the woods this evening-maybe that will discourage them from coming up into the yard-tomorrow I’ll remember my gloves when looking for that damn hole in the fence...

My contractor compadre refers to deer as the “rodents with hooves”-but he puts out food for them, just as I do...
