Well, since “cops that abuse and murder” wasn’t part of the OP, I didn’t comment on it. I’ve seen plenty of hate directed at all cops (which was part of the OP) and that’s what I commented on.

I was a kid in Boston in the 40s and the cops were very tough on the guys—(we girls were left alone). Billy clubs were used frequently.
