They are called ‘wolf spiders’ and I usually leave them alone. They eat the brown recluses. We have Brown’s in our house. Hate them with a passion. Sticky traps are great.

My dad was hit by a brown recluse spider and was left with a crater in his back that did not heal for the rest of his life, 40 years. Seemed fairly toxic to me!
