Despite protests of interference by the Rangers' G Lundqvist on Pens' Evgeni Malkin, a deflected shot by James Neal
trickles off the goalie's back across the line to notch the tying goal in Period Two, as N.Y. & Pittsburgh are 2-2 at Intermission.

A few seconds before Rangers F Pouliot scores the apparent winner, his teammate Derek Broussard actually ends Game 1
in Overtime, as New York comes out on top 3-2 over Pittsburgh to begin their Second Round series.

I wouldn’t have seen it except Drudge put the article up.

http://detroit.cbslocal.com/2014/05/02/boston-strong-racist-reaction-after-subban-scores-game-winner/

I’d like to know who would write such tweets. Anyone can tweet that. I’m not convinced those negative types of tweets would come out of Boston or that area. Maybe. Or could be the same sickee over and over.

It’s completely despicable… Either some rabble-rouser who wants to cash in on the Sterling controversy, or some Celtics fan PO’d that their team isn’t doing better now.

The Bruins' Daniel Paielle scores from the deep slot on a D's deflection past Montreal G Price to register the first goal
in Game Two vs. the Canadiens in Boston. At the 1st Intermission they lead 1-0, but trail the Series one Game to none.

So the NBC announcers say the Bruins, Marchand gave the puck away and the Habs ended up scoring knotting it up 1-1. 2nd pd.

The Canadiens' Mike Weaver scores early in Period 2 to knot the score, then later moments after a Lucic hand-direct is disallowed
Sabres' ex-pat Thomas Vanek performs a classic slot-tip on the PP to give Montreal a 2-1 advantage over the Bruins at Intermission.

Michel Therrien sures knows how to coach a team to play well in their own zone. Go Habs!

Another tip by the Canadiens' Vanek vaults Montreal to the dreaded 3-1 lead early in the third Period over the Bruins,
but Boston responds with 4 straight goals, capped by a Reilly Smith GWG then a Lucic empty-netter for a 5-3 win in Game Two.

I watched the last 10 minutes...it was like Montreal morphed into San Jose Sharks. A bad (no)call towards the end...but the Bruins definitely put it in another gear...the were flying towards the puck on both ends.

Shades of Boston-Toronto Game 7 last year ... Great drama (and a potential bracket-saver too ;)

Yea Boston knew when to turn on the jets. Hopefully Therrien will get into his team about how to close it out. Still it was a good game. Tied series, I hope it goes 7.

LOL, it was fast & furious that last half of the Third period – the “wire report” changed a couple of times in the course of the final few minutes ;)

Amazing how many 3-1 leads have been blown so far in these Playoffs ... On the second Boston goal today, Price badly overcompensated in his crease to let a floater through, then a really bad hop on the tying goal just fed the Bruins’ frenzy.

Maybe you can explain this to me. Are the opposing players allowed to be in the paint/crease or not?

Good question, one I have wondered about & that seems to be interpreted on a whim sometimes. Here's what the official NHL Rule Book has to say…
