There is also a man named Randy Brogdon, who is Conservative, running. But Brogdon got into the race late and has little to no name recognition.
The good thing is Oklahoma has a runoff. So in the end it'll probably be decided in a runoff between TW and Lankford.
TW Needs our support!!!!!!! Please either donate or find creative ways to help!
What I do.. is I go to Lankford's Facebook Page. And I find people that are supporting him. And I send them his record. Most people are SHOCKED.. when they see what Lankford has voted for!
It's a dollar to send someone a message on facebook but if 200 Freepers did that.. would make a nice little dent!!!

I thought that too at first.. but don’t worry! Oklahoma has a runoff rule!
So even if he takes Conservatives votes away.. there will be a runoff between the top two candidates. In this case between Shannon and Lankford.
Brogdon, by entering the race, may have just ensured a runoff will happen.

OK has a run-off if no one gets to 50%+1, and I think that Shannon (whom I support) will have a better chance of overcoming Lankford’s establishment and Baptist endorsements and deeper pockets in the lower-turnout run-off than in the regular primary (particularly since conservatives would have more time to point out Lankford’s less-than-exemplary record). I haven’t seen recent polls, but I suspect that Lankford is ahead but is under 50%. So I think that Brogdon staying in the race and getting his people to the polls will help conservatives stop Lankford from reaching the Senate.

Great post, thanks for the ping! I have been so busy with my son’s school that I have not done as much for the campaign as I would have liked by now. However, I have recruited several voters because I speak about him to everyone I meet.
That is a great idea about FaceBook. I am not on FaceBook but I hope others take your recommendation.
I saw several commercials during “Wheel of Fortune” the other night by Lankford. Made himself sound like a Tea Partier....LOL!! But it was a smart move to advertise during that time slot because many elderly citizens and others are “wheel whatchers”.
I hope to get more involved as school winds down. Keep me posted as u can. GO TW!!!

Ive sent about 30 of those Facebook messages out with Lankford’s record. Of those 30.. I got 20 people to change their votes to Shannon.
