Oh yea, that is worse, I remember that play and was rooting for Green Bay that game, how the hell did they give up so many yards? If I remember correctly, it was also a generous spot after the catch - you guys woulda beat the Panthers the next weekend - one play - jeez........
DJ may be a jerk or worse but I’ve followed all his seasons. For all this going on about him now, in 7 years I don’t think any of this ever affected his play. He was a special talent nor did I ever hear that he so disrupted any locker room. Suddenly it’s as if he was a 7 year nightmare. Just not true.
I think $16 million is guaranteed.
Unless something new comes out I think it was all about the Eagles getting out of his high salary. But anything is possible.
He has a new Boss and I agree with Chip.He was giving Crips signs.Long ago I had to deal with this and fired everyone on camera who gave the sign. They still got us and closed all the exits and beat parents and kids.Crips called me and told me they did it.:)
One does not have to be a “7 year nightmare” to be a dysfunctional
player. He is a dysfunctional player who signed with a dysfunctional
team and a dysfunctional team owner.
Once again, perfect match.
How much money Snyder is irrelevant. What is relevant -- I know this, I'm a Cowboys fan -- is how much cap space he takes up.
I believe it was Chip Kelly’s call. Among many other things, I’m sure he didn’t like having that much cap space allocated to an undersized, one-dimensional speedster going into his seventh year in the league.
And the next year we (the Giants) won the SB.
He is this year’s Terrell Owens
This is the guy who spiked the ball before crossing the goalline?
As a Cowboys fan I’m thrilled that he’s with the Skins. Two birds with one stone.
“I think Chip Kelly saw him as a rapidly depreciating asset who caused more trouble than he was worth. His old teammates certainly had no problem with watching him walk away. That speaks volumes about his impact on the locker room.”
I agree with the points you make but the Eagles should have worked out a deal for DeSean before free agency signings began. To wait until the entire league spent to the Cap Limits and THEN try to shop one of the most expensive WR contracts was sheer stupidity.
They got nothing tangible in return.
