I’m pretty sure it was and I remember watching that scene (of the painting with the face scratched out) and thinking it was strange and out of place - why would someone do that? It’s just another reason why I love this show.

She’s a minor celebrity, mostly known for her roles on Star Trek: The Next Generation and in the movie Pet Cemetery. She’s also the granddaughter of Bing Crosby.

Not that I know of. She’s a minor celebrity, but that’s it, as far as I know. Maybe they brought her on due to her role on Pet Sematary. I think it’s just a minor celebrity cameo. Not sure how long “Mary” will be on TWD or how big her role will be.
