Why didn’t they race the two laps before the downpour?

That was a really good race. Everyone was racing thinking it would be over any moment. Few engines struggling.

Yes glad the fans got to see a good show. 8&1/2 hours is a long day plus however early they got there before the green.

Concrete Carl was real stout there in the August race but had an engine fail.

That’s interesting, because FS1 is now carrying a lot of high line college sports plus MLB. I’d think the Cox customers would be real unhappy.

Speed wanted a lot more money and /cox told them to go pound sand.

I think it has now become a pay channel.

FS2 is an extra cost on my provider, but it has a fairly lame set of offerings. Fox converted SpeedTV to FS1 to build a competitor to ESPN.

Waltrip said he thinks the electrical shorted caution was a Blessing. If they were racing for the finish two laps later when the downpour would have hit, the accidents would have been horrific.

We always see the invocation prayers at the start of the races, what does it look like when it's answered?

At speed they would have been finished before the downpour I think.

What our newspaper lists as FS-1 was runninf a ski event and the channel was called fox san Diego.

Don’t know whether to laugh or cry myself - below 200 points plus missed the announcement about the race transferring to FS-1 so I missed everything after the first rain delay. Mama said there’d be days like this...
