Manumit a 2012 political slogan....a compound word from the republican _residential election committee..... “Man! you shoulda voted for Mitt...”
strange as this was BEFORE the election and the GOPe already knew the outcome and had the very gracious concession speech prepared for Willard's silver tongue to give....

His greatness we all can admit

Ugh! I wish the “gay rights” lobby would manumit the American public from their BS.
Every time I hear/see these gays out there “protesting,” it makes me think, “The ONLY thing they’re out there espousing is how they prefer to have sex. There’s absolutely NOTHING about their lives that’s different from the rest of us. They simply choose to not procreate but to laud the faux auspices of sex with the same gender.” Disgusting.

at rock bottom it is far less to do with gay rights and far more to do with killing off religion.

You are absolutely correct, but the progressive left is too intellectually dishonest to just come out and say that, because a majority of the morons who vote for them would understand the problem with that.

they consistently work to pacify their moronic voting base, while methodically working towards their goals.

When they went hunting elephants stuck in the tar pits, the early cavemen faced the same problems conservatives face today in Washington: They couldn’t easily get a manuMit brave enough to kill the entrenched beasts.
