Sounds like an interesting mix. Dogs like that need farms and ranches to live on. I kept a Great Dane whose owners moved to the city and couldn’t keep him. He was huge, even by Great Dane standards, in the record book area, and I didn’t feel like I could give him to just anyone. Finally I found a rancher who had a Great Dane, and he was thrilled to get another one. Those dogs lived out their lives running in pastures with horses.

I had to look up the “Ibizan Hound”. Very elegant-looking breed!

Sad! :(

You know, I’ve never posted a picture, but I keep thinking I should take some good pictures of my dogs, including the neighbor’s big dog that we babysit, and post them for you guys. I’ll tell my son to get busy on it.

Reminds me of that incident a couple of years ago—remember——when that guy let all of his exotic animals loose. It was a bunch of them, and I think they were all killed.

I love mutts. And I’m sorry about the loss of yours.

Hey, a dog isn’t any trouble...just chain him in the backyard and let him have a dirty dish of water. No sweat. /S

It was in Ohio.

*That* stupid git is the one to blame for the new “Lacey Act” that has destroyed the livelihoods of reptile breeders and reptile supply companies all over America and has pet owners like myself waiting for the day the feds come and kill my sneks.

:(

A friend of our just got a Corgi puppy and today I saw a woman walking 2 Corgis! OMG! I want one, they are soooo cute! I hear they are serious dogs and can be a little difficult to live with. True or false?

I suppose the upside to their ‘project’ is that perhaps some of the current GSD genetic issues will be minimized or even eliminated.

Mine tries to herd everything that moves and its pretty annoying. She’s also food aggressive and barky.

She convinces the Jack Russell to kick her butt about once per month.

My sister has one of these wolf breeds. The dog is about a year old and always getting loose and disappearing because she doesn’t want to live in a doublewide. The fenced yard is no match for her. The dog is also very destructive. So my sister just whines that she can’t afford an electric fence and she is at her wit’s end, like she had no idea what she was getting into. She’s had one of these breeds before.

Lovely! I have so many beautiful pics of my dogs. After being on FR since the last century, I’ve never learned how to post photos. Maybe I need to hunker down and just do it!
