I used to collect stamps as a kid. I think I have a sheet of Richard Nixon ones. Seriously.

A bit off-topic:
Does anyone else remember sending letters hom from VietNam and writing "FREE" in the stamp area on them?
I have some I sent to my folks with that on them and some from buddies in Nam that I received.
Maybe "collectors" items some day?
Also:
Do troops in war zones currently get to do this?
I do not know.

I hope they add a caption to the stamp....
In an ode to “Planet of the Apes,” I suggest....
“Keep Your Stinking Paws Off Me, You Damn Dirty Liberals!”
OK, I changed the last word.

You have to put a stamp on it. The *Free Mail* thing only works for Soldiers who are sending letters home. It doesn't work for letters getting out to them.
Since those of us stateside are sending to a APO....the postage is the same as if you sending a letter/package to anywhere in the USA. A deal at any rate!
Just make sure you do not put *Afghanistan* anywhere on the envelope.

They just can’t get past his NRA presidency as if he didn’t have a long, illustrious film career for which he’s being honored.

Just curious if it was available for the troops.
