That would be funny if I knew who Joe Buck was. Never heard of him.
Odd, sound slider won’t work for me.
Lead play-by-play guy for Fox NFL and MLB. He and his father were both St. Louis Cardinal announcers.
i like the pizza :)
If you watch the Super Bowl on the Fox tv network tomorrow he will be the play by play man.
He’s the sports announcer who uses phony dramatic pauses throughout his commentary.
If you ever listened to a Pro game with Troy Aikman, former Cowboys quarterback, he is always paired with Joe Buck. Buck does baseball as others have noted with his roots in St.Louis.
That was pretty funny.
“That would be funny if I knew who Joe Buck was. Never heard of him.”
If you watch the Superbowl tomorrow, you’ll know who he is: the main sports announcer for the game. And he TOTALLY SUCKS at it!
Who the &3!* is Joe Buck?
Several of my friends are big MLB fans. They can’t stand Joe Buck. It seems that the more a fan understands baseball, the more he is likely to hate Joe Buck.
It was all scripted
“It was all scripted”
Indeed. But still absolutely WAY funny! Joe Buck did an excellent job acting as if it was all real. And a really good sport for poking fun at himself that way.
“It seems that the more a fan understands baseball, the more he is likely to hate Joe Buck.”
This is an equally true statement if you substitute the word “football” for the word “baseball”.
Here’s another one. The guy’s a clown.
The ‘mute’ button on your TV was invented because of Joe Buck :)
“And we will see you tomorrow night!!!.....Huh? Phony? Whaddya mean that didn’t fly? MY DADDY”S LINE??!!! Screw you guys in the truck! Where is that freakin’ anti-gun midget Costas? He told me it would be brilliant!...Bitch set me up.....”
Anybody know how to delay my radio receiver so I can listen to the local radio guys and not hear them call the game 20 seconds before I see it on TV? Maybe a bunch of resistors soldered on to the radio antenna or something? Perhaps I could set up a series of 100 walkie-talkies?
I’m a Seahawks fan, and between listening to all of the stupid patter on stats, etc., the endless comments on Richard Sherman’s rants, and the fawning over Peyton Manning, I’m not looking forward to having to listen to the national guys. It is so much more exiting to listen to it on local radio.

COOL! And it doesn’t look as though they use 100 walkie-talkies lined up to do it. Hmm. I wonder if I call now they could have it to me tomorrow?
