Well first off they count folks up to the age of 20....
Secondly I doubt those raw numbers break out thug punks shooting each other in the streets from children accidentally injured by guns.
Of the 20, 16-18 are probably inner city gangbangers who need shootin’.
It could be true, but given that there is something like 500 million guns in america, this number is statistically insignificant.
I ran the numbers once and the biggest killer of children in America is drowning, and the number of people that one inground pools is something like 1 million households. The chances of a drowning death in an inground pool is something in the range of 1,000 times more likely than a child being killed by a long gun...
I say ban POOLS IMMEDIATELY! IF IT SAVES JUST ONE CHILD!
There is a nagging inconvenient political and demographic component to violence committed with firearms.
How many children are hospitalized in this country every day from traffic accidents? How may are killed every year from traffic accidents? Many more than guns! Why not ban cars?
I heard that on a talk show. What crap!
