I know,,,it’s been the worst winter I can remember too. Day after day of cold and wind. It’s common to have -15 at night lately. I have 2 horses and I’ve been doing double duty this winter to keep them safe and warm as possible. I have a small but nice barn with double walls and straw bedded stalls. This has been good enough for the last 11 years of winter. But this year I have had to buy winter blankets for the horses. Even my fuzziest horse got a blanket last week for this colder snap.

I always think of AlGore (not fondly) at times like this.
If he is so afraid of globull warming, how come he got a mansion in warm California. I think he’d prefer cool Wisconsin where his fears of warming would soon be gone.

Only got down to -20 last night. Way better than the -25 they predicted. (sarcasm frozen, can’t tell if it’s on or off).

At 12:30 p.m. Monday, it was still -20 for us, with wind from the WNW at 15-23, giving us a wind chill of -46.

Weird weather...50 above here in soviet Red Hampshire with occasional downpours (die, snow; die!), but friends in mid-Tennessee reporting only NINE above. Upside-down, indeed. (It won’t last, of course...back into the deep freeze for Red Hampshire tonight.)

One more cold night then the heat wave slowly starts. ;-)
Hope your trip downtown today went well. I stayed home from work, Car wouldn't start.
Closer inspection of the block heater plug showed it had a broken connection.
I replaced the plug and plugged the car in and put a battery charger on it.
4 hours later the 2002 Buick roared to like. :-)

01 Saturn L series started right up with out a block heater. I did start and run it for 30 minute at midnight.

Got to my downtown site only to have the client call and cancel when I got to the building. Go figure.
