I think Michonne having Judith is another (less likely) possibility. I watched the episode again, and Michonne is shown helping Rick up after the battle. Then soon after he is shown by himself staggering (due to his injuries) and he’s looking for Carl. Where did Michonne go?
Something is going to happen to Rick - and Carol is the one that going to roll in as the Calvary...but I do agree - in times like that people have to make tough choices - but ones values must be weighed in as well...who knows what any of us would have done until faced with it...

The only good villain is a dead villain. So I can give him my vote for “best” now.
My family was all saying how he had changed for the better in that first(?) episode. I laughed, and said No Way. Sad to say, but I even cheered when the little girl he had befriended got taken by the zombie in the mudhole.
I wonder about that, too. I was surprised she didn't hang around, as badly beaten as Rick was. She got off to somewhere, and knowing her, she made good use of the opportunity, whatever it was.
I hate rage zombies.

They're zombies! They can't die unless you destroy their brain. They just get really hungry until somebody makes a mistake and falls into range, then they eat and wait another year until some other dummy strolls along.

I’d have starved to death because of all the blood and guts and gore they get splattered with and wouldn’t be able to work up an appetite. LOL
