If you see an advertisement on Ebay, Craigslist, or wherever for an Apple product at a bargain price, something is not right. The merchandise is most likely stolen, damaged in some way or fake.
Repeat: Apple does NOT discount their products. You want a 32GB Wi-Fi Ipad Air with Retina display? It's going to cost you $599 at every legitimate venue. Get used to it.
I hate that this guy got killed looking for a bargain on an iPad. May the killers be convicted and tortured for the rest of their lives. But damn, this guy should have just bought a Kindle Fire or something if he couldn't afford to buy the iPad at list price.
I say once again. Apple does NOT discount their pricing. What you see online is what you should expect to pay. If you see a price that is lower and need to drive to some sketchy neighborhood to close the deal, something is WRONG.
Round up everyone in their family, from third cousins and in-laws down.
Then, employ the practice of decimation. That will make families think hard about keeping their relatives in line.
African names=ghetto vermin trash.
Meanwhile, the violent crime rate in England (source of the daily U.S. crime news) is higher per capita than in the U.S.A., and the U.K. continues to be rapidly saturated with violent rapists and murderers from the Middle East.
I am not sure what the guy thought he was getting, but I wonder how he could conclude that a couple of black youths were going to sell him an iPad that was anything but stolen. He had to suspect that it was. Unless he was going to steal it from them and return it to the rightful owner, he had no business trying to buy it. Receiving stolen property is a felony.
An interesting aside: I know a woman who was buying what she thought was a MacBook Air. She looked at it, it was in a Best Buy box, wrapped in bubble wrap, had the Apple logo on it. The guy, who coincidentally was black, wanted only two hundred dollars for it. She gave him the money, and after he gave her the box, she found out that it was two ceramic floor tiles taped together with electrical tape, and a convincing-looking Apple sticker. It was a mite awkward to ask her what the perp looked like, because she was black herself.
There is no such thing as senseless violence. There is always a motive.
Buying a used iPad from Tyron and Tyshaune means buying a stolen iPad.
Just sayin’.
Young black men: 3% of the population. 50% of the murder.
I gladly volunteer as the axe man..
Looks like the next time I answer a Craigslist ad I’ll need to arrange sniper escort & coverage.
