I’m looking at the bright side. It’s all the way up to -9 now in the heat of the day.
Hope you warmed up!
On Groudhog Day 1996, we set the all time record for Minnesota with -60 about an hour north of me. If you threw a cup of coffee into the air it would freeze in mid air and fall to the ground as ice crystals. We drove nails into a board using a frozen banana and made the national news.
Winter is just a fact of life for both of us, I guess.
Did all your Freon evaporate and go up to the ozone layer?
It must have. :)
Anyhow, that was darn cold.
Freon turns to liquid at -20 and it is heavy like propane.
It is -60 at 30,000 feet, so I am just wondering how it can get up to the level of the ozone to destroy it.
Can’t find an answer to that.
Neither can I. I didn’t know what you just told me though, so you’re already miles ahead of me!
It must be like “Global Warming”.
Facts don’t get in the way of asserting power.
the winter of 76-77 were bloody cold. I remember them closing my Catholic school the entire month because they had no heat.
