Yes, just as the Vietnam War was a fight over the poppy fields there so, too, was the war in Afghanistan. Before we went in there the Taliban had a dispute with the CIA and then cut them off of the supply and outlawed the growing of poppy.
Looks like the CIA is making quite a bit of money these days.
